Comic book artist Jae Lee is famous for his work with writer Paul Jenkins on Marvel titles such as The Sentry and The Inhumans (an eisner award winning series). Lee has also been an artist for the Dark Tower comic book series. One of the striking features about his work is the heavy use of shading. It's almost like he drew the shadows first and then everything else around it. I’m a big fan of heavy inking, and he’s one of the reasons why. Personally, he is one of my favorite Batman artists. Come on, an artist who draws shadowy dark figures is drawing Batman. What part of that doesn't sound good? If you want to check him out, definitely pick up The Sentry, or Batman: Jekyll and Hyde. His rendition of Two-Face is pretty great.
