http://monsterbrains.blogspot.com/) This is one of my favorite images found on the blog website and is currently the wallpaper for my desktop background. The materials used for this piece look to be pen on some kind of yellowish paper. The image is like a doodle that evolved into much more. The ghouls have a frightening quality to them, but are still heartwarming to look at. I do not know who the artist is as I saved this image on my computer months ago.
I've seen this artist before and actually drew some illustrations inspired by him. I just am so drawn to the whole creepy feeling of the characters. Also I love how he draws teeth.
ReplyDeleteI really dig the creepy feeling in this. The characters in the woods sorta reminds me of the movie "Coven" that Mark Borchardt is making throughout American Movie. <--- REALLY good -- I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.
