Non Format is probably one of the most known graphic design duos in the world. Although they do mostly graphic design work in advertisement, posters, etc; They have many illustration/design hybrid work that's incredible. The image shown above is packaging for CD releases. They have worked closely with magazines such as the Wire and major companies like K-Swiss and Nike. The thing I like the most about them is the way they approach every project. They try to bring the most unrelated things together and make it work. They're about breaking boundaries and creating very unique pieces of art.
They did a lecture at the Walker Art Center thats really awesome, they talk about a lot of their pieces and how they were done. They also talk about how they're able to work 18-24 hour worksdays.. (it's also pretty hilarious)
