So here is some concept work for the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter, a section of a theme park in Universal Studios Island Of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. This is a project that I worked on several years back. This is the best of the concept art, as some are much worse.

Well, this image anyway. I just think its fun to see how much time and effort was put into this art work, because the work in the early stages are very loose sketches, and stick figures believe it or not. I posted this because it is related to my major, and a great example of what I want to do...and it is the reason I ended up in Chicago.

ReplyDeleteI was confused at first as to why so many people were wearing shorts. I do think the image is successful in giving me the feel of a harry potter book in a fictionalized frosty England. The main challenge would be to find something that looks convincingly like snow in summer weather.
