Here's my refined sketch of my best day ever: PAY DAY! I've added color to get a better idea of what it's going to look like finished. Still have some work to do on it, but it's getting there.
I would be cool if that circled 17 would be really exaggerated. Really circle that 17 it would make it look more argent. Possibly add pointing arrows or maybe add in the pen you would use to circle the 17.
The color definitely makes this feel more complete and engaging.The rubber band starts the eye off on a nice diagonal right through the circled date to the post-it. I like the subtle use of perspective as well.
