I was scrolling through illustrations and this particular image had caught my eye. I don't know what it is but there is just something about future city illustrations that draw me in. For me this illustration is magnificent. The colors of the buildings have a very futuristic feel to them, and the shapes of the architecture are very believable if you have seen recent pictures of Dubai you will see many similarities. The composition of this illustration is perfect. The sun in the background gives it the natural feel making the image seem very believable because we all have seen the sun light up the sky before in this type of colors. But, once you look back at the buildings you realize how unreal this image really is. It only makes you think about how much more time it will take for our world to look like this.

What an amazing illustration. Futuristic Cities and Post-Apocalyptic Cities are by far my favorite types of landscape pictures. The color scheme is what gets me the most (many Sci-Fi/ Action movie covers and posters use the same Orange and Blue contrast). The bright color of the sun draws the viewer in, as the clouds make your eyes move down onto the blue colored buildings.
