Rob Prior is one of the most inflectional artist, in terms of photo realism like art drawings from marvel to his iconic dungeons and dragons retro covers from the 80's. His amazing ability to work with pencils, prismacolors, and air brush into presenting a crazy realistic picture is truly a great illustration. This art cover for terminator, back in the hay day of the movie, attracted so many artist to bend their work into Priors style. The great use of air brush applied onto this cover really pops out at you of its imitation to skin, the skin on Shawn Connor's mom's face got my attention. A great amount of shadow on the face and the hair creates a 3d effect for a stronger form. Also i like to say the terminator metal face in the background with its metal like gradient is eye dropping.
I never heard of this artist before but I do like his air brush style and photo realistic art.
