Floyd O.L.J. Butler here. This week were going to look at the cover of the 1994 Wolverine comic book penciled by Adam Kubert. It is drawn in a western style, with allot of detail on Wolverine's face and flexing upper body muscles. This picture could take place in the present or past, but we know it takes place in the past because if you look closely at his claws. There bone not laced with adantium metal, that for a short time in the comic book history, Wolverine was without it cause he lost it in a battle with Magneto. But he was later re laced with the unbreakable metal. This illustration was meant for the cover of Wolverine issue number eighty-three and was printed for it. Just like any it was meant to catch the eye of the reader, so they be drawn into purchasing the book. I think it is very well done drawing and that it does just that and makes the purchaser guess who will Wolverine be fighting next. Adam Kubert was commissioned by Marvel Comics to do this great peace an if you want to see more of his work check out Wolverine back issue in the mid or early 90's.
