Floyd O.L.J. Butler
Rodeo Flip
This is my ideal good day is snowboarding and completing a rodeo flip trick. The name of my drawing is rodeo flip, doing tricks and free riding snowboarding would be a perfect day for me!

Bad Day, Die Hard

BAD DAY, DIE HARD
my visual interpretation of the worst day ever.

Final: Worst Day

I did a man getting eaten by a shark. I had no time to scan it so I had to take a picture of it. Sorry that it doesn't look very good. I am afraid of sharks but they fascinate me. I decided to do a worst day on a shark attack. I did it in watercolor and pen.

WORST day Fianl

I used to be terrified by the Macho Man "Randy Savage." The worst day ever would be a guy getting his head squashed by the Macho Man. With his massive muscles and vanes popping out of his arms, and his flashy wardrobe complete with bright colors and rime stones. He's a scary guy and that would be the worst day for me... I used Markers and a little but of acrylic for highlights on this.

Worst Day Final

Final Worst-Day

The worst day I can imagine is if a supermassive blackhole sprung up suddenly in the solar system and crushed everything into non-existance.

Best day final

This is far as I could take this image without scrapping the idea completely. I officially pronounce it done and over with.

Worst Day Final

Finished version. Yay.

Dino days

Here is the final ridiculous version of my best day ever, hope you guys dig.

Final Piece

So, this is obviously different than what I posted for sketch and progress pieces...I didn't feel like I had enough time to be satisfied with the finished result of my previous idea, and it wasn't going very well in the first place, so I decided to completely start over.  This is another idea I had written down when I was first brainstorming...little Medusa's worst day ever.

The full size version can be found here; for some reason Blogger is shrinking the photo and making the details look awful...

I @!#$%'IN QUIT!

So, after looking at it for a while, I realized that I hated the red shading, and switched it out for blue. Now I'm a billion times happier with this piece. I think I need to do more color work. I feel like that's where I'm lacking at the moment. But I am pretty pleased with it in this.

Best Flippen Day ever, second draft

Okay so, got my half mostly sketched out, need to do the boyfriend half and the center image. The original had a half/three-quarter body shot in the middle, but I think now I am just going to make it profile images, close up of faces only. You can kind of see the sketchy erased one I tried to do.

This is or is close to my final draft, thoughts?

Worst Day

This is my worst day ever... although it could also be the best day ever... worst day because im getting choked by the Macho Man Randy Savage, and also the best day ever because its the Macho Man... sorry i haven't posted this before i had a lot going on, i had an exhibition last saturday, which went amazing by the way... but yea I'm going to start with markers as soon as I'm done writing this. . .

Round Tres: Progress...

Heres progress so far, I redid the dinosaur and finished the line work on it, still need to work on the background of the dream and resize the whole thing so its printable. Ill probably make it wider since its easier to extend it a couple inches than have to resize the whole thing to work... Just goes to show kids that you need to measure twice and cut once.

Worst day sketch 2

This is my worst day image that shows a man trying to kill himself off of his roof, while his wife is trying to talk him out of it (depicted in the window). Kind of wanted to do an abstract design to it where it has elements of objects that you wouldn't see in life.

Another Refined Sketch

Hello. I saw the comments by my drawing and they seemed logical, so I subdued the panels a little. I refrained from changing the thickness because I like the kind of “closed in” look it brings to the rest of the comic. But now they’re sea green and match the blues and greens in the comic a bit better.
