Sure Pui-Mun Law's image is lighter and a tad more colorful, but the overall softness of lines, not to mention the subject matter definitely brings me back to the works of that Swedish genius.Vadim Flakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01241174148157889176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3124378925641768768.post-82220185200087632092011-02-15T22:31:00.788-08:002011-02-15T22:31:00.788-08:00The style she uses, with the lines and coloring re...The style she uses, with the lines and coloring reminds me so much of classic story books.A very fascinating piece, rich with that certain type of playful fancifulness you don't see as much anymore outside of childhood.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11549063863004362578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3124378925641768768.post-63751663507921364272011-02-15T19:03:11.045-08:002011-02-15T19:03:11.045-08:00Her pictures are amazing in terms of complex illus...Her pictures are amazing in terms of complex illustration. I love designs where there so many things going on in a picture, makes it feel like the painter/drawer really took time to make it. It choice of soft, elegant, and bright colors enhances the picture to show lively atmosphere.Abrahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18096298759874891253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3124378925641768768.post-10243186311017291592011-02-15T14:12:26.627-08:002011-02-15T14:12:26.627-08:00While I do enjoy her flowing compositions, I wish ...While I do enjoy her flowing compositions, I wish she would push her medium further. It seems that most (if not all) of her pieces are in that light, soft style, which is the stereotypical watercolor look... I'd like to see her do something nice and dark for a change.Olga K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04717009635634161938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3124378925641768768.post-26936065356157729672011-02-15T09:59:36.731-08:002011-02-15T09:59:36.731-08:00This is such a pretty, whimsical illustration. I love the soft, translucent coloration. It seems to be a very well balanced piece, and the lines make your eye move around and downward. I would love to see this work bigger so I could see all the details, it's really quite lovely!Ali Cantarellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06950241952737668777noreply@blogger.com
